PDSC is a small nonprofit organization with a big mission. We are always looking for dedicated volunteers to assist with guest engagement and maintaining our dynamic facility and exhibits.

​

Current Volunteer Openings:

• Discovery Guide: Working directly with children and families on the exhibit hall floor during open hours (Wed-Sun). 

• Guest Services: Checking in families, processing sales, and helping maintaing the gift shop and lending library. 

• Camp Guide: Assisting staff with delivering engaging indoor/outdoor activities for school-age children during spring and summer break. 

• Outdoor Upkeep: Help maintain outdoor spaces by weeding, pruning, watering, gardening... tasks can be done outside of normal open hours.

• Repairs: Assist with minor repairs and projects to improve exhibits & spaces. Schedule TBD based on need and skill level.
